The Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce

Encourage, support, and

facilitates commercial relations

between Israel and India

The Israel-Asia Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1984 with the

mission to encourage, support, and facilitates commercial relations

between Israel and Asia. The Chamber promotes productive dialogue

and mutual cooperation to strengthen ties between the regions.

The Chamber was founded by: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The

Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor (Ministry of Economy), Ministry

of Finance, The Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute,

The Manufacturers’ Association, The Federation of Israeli Chambers of

Commerce, and The Kibbutzim’ Industries Association.

At present, the Chamber consists of nine sub-chambers, including

the Israel-India Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber provides a variety of services to its members, such as:

• Business Opportunities & Announcement of Tenders

• Information about Doing Business in India

• Theconcentrationanddistributionofinformationondevelopments

and trends in Israel and India

• Consultancy by experts with extensive experience in India –

Invitations to seminars and events related to Israel-India relations

• Assistance with Visas where possible – Coordination of B2B

meetings between members of the Chamber and Indian

Companies

• Organizing & integrating Chamber members with business

delegations

• Assistance in liaison with economic attaches and embassies in

Israel and India

• Other Services and assistance on a case-by-case basis

The Chamber recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary in June 2014

where an awards ceremony took place presenting various titles to

outstanding companies who are currently active in Asia.
