Amram Aklom
Immigrated
from
Ethiopia
in
1980
at
the
age
of
10,
underwent
the
absorption
process
in
Israel
–
attended
high
school
and
did
military
service
in
the
IDF
Paratrooper
Brigade
.
Amram
has
worked
at
JDC
for
the
past
15
years
and
is
currently
a
Senior
Program
Director
in
JDC

Ashalim

Young
Adults
Programs
Area
.
He
manages
and
develops
educational
programs
,
including
Ofek
Matriculation
for
youth
,
Springboard
army
preparation
and MENTA
for
students
studying
in
one
-
and
two
-
year
post
-
secondary
school
certificate
programs
.
He
is
a
social
worker
by
training
,
and
is
studying
for
his
master
’
s
degree
in
educational administration
.
