Despite the ongoing security difficulties, the Israeli economy has remained resilient and the cooperation between Israel and India has only grown stronger. We are witnessing an increase in high-level delegations between the two countries, including a recent visit of approximately 100 Israeli business leaders, led by the Minister of Economy and Industry Mr. Nir Barkat. We look forward to welcoming a reciprocal Indian delegation to Israel in the near future. A key focus in Israel-India relations these days is the India-Middle East- Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), a strategic project to link India with the Middle East and Europe, creating new business opportunities and strengthening economic ties. Joint research and development initiatives are also flourishing in space technology, clean energy, precision agriculture, defense, andwater technology. Moreover, Israel’s security situation has led to a newarea of cooperation: the recruitment of skilled Indian professionals in sectors such as construction, healthcare and infrastructure.
