Dear Readers, W e are happy and proud to present to you the first issue of the Isra- Techmagazine, which isproduced in cooperation with the Israel Export Institute, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Trade Administration at the Israeli Economy and Trade ministry, as well as the organization of the Binational Chambers of Commerce. The magazine will be distributed quarterly through our partners, to their recipients in the world. Its purpose is to present and promote Israeli technologies in the world and with every issue, it will highlight a different technological field. The first issue of Isra-Tech deals with climate technologies or Climatech. The need to stop and reduce the effects of global warming, the need to find alternative sources of energy, the need to cope with water shortage, sewage and garbage as well as create sustainable practices to save the earth, the need for alternative sources of nutrition, etc - are all urgent and immediate. Israel, as a startup nation, is also dealing with these issues and as of now, over 300 companies are working with state-of-the art technologies to improve the condition of our planet. In this issue you will find details about some of these companies and technologies, as well as interesting and important information about the climate tech field, in the hope that you will find a use for them in the countries you live in.
